ties is a film about a young couple in love. Dylan (Galen Peria) and Elle (Jillian Leigh) have never been with anyone but each other. Why would they want to? Things are perfect. Or so they seem.

Madly in love, they run off to New York City to begin a new and exciting life. Life, however, quickly proves more difficult than they had guessed. As the bills mount and Elle considers the opportunities she's missing, she begins to grow more distant.

When Elle finally admits that she wants to leave him, Dylan must make a choice. Will he accept her departure, or will he do what it takes to make sure they stay together forever?

Shot on a shoestring budget with a skeleton crew, the ties production team utilized the latest tools to tell the story of this tragic relationship with few resources--and few compromises. ties is currently in post-production, and is slated for completion Summer of 2010.
